Summary/Abstract: Organizations are under increasing pressure today to show that they are consistent in the application of social responsi-bility standards and to actively participate in environmental activities. The basic idea of the concept of social responsibility is that an organization should not only look at profit, as the main and only goal towards which it is directed, but also to pay attention to how and in what way it implements its business activities and how it affects the environment in which it operates. On sample of sports organizations from the Republic of Serbia it is determined that they do not possess a certificate confirming that the system of social responsibility of the organization that has established and applies is in accordance with the standard for ISO 26000 social responsibility systems, or a certificate for any other ISO standard.
