Summary/Abstract: The aim of our project is to promote good quality reading, school-connected or not, especially for students attending schools in the rural, but also urban areas. The objectives related to the forming and developing of correct reading abilities represent a central issue of this thesis, as well as the diversification of extrinsic and intuitive motivations, the intellectual, emotional and relational maturity, the awareness of the roles of reading competence in school training, the opening of the personal universe to communication and academic writing, to the agreement and respect of the everyone’s personality, referring to all those who are making progress through reading. A good teacher which teaches Romanian will be able to channel the reading activity in such a manner that will be proper for extracting the maximum informational amount, that will help him “help himself”. The part the school plays is to help the student fit better within the society. Or this can only be achieved according to the competences and respecting the necessary moral norms. Through lecture, the students find it easy to achieve and develop under a conducted and advised observation process.
