Summary/Abstract: Although, apparently, intended for the young audience through its extremely clear message, through the text poetics which does not raise particular problems, the Little Prince is part of the general context of the writer's work and of the whole exuperian philosophy, a deep thought on the essence of life that brings to light an initiation route, it represents an adventure of training and improvement supported by symbolic and paradigmatic events.Representation of the author's own life and of his lost childhood nostalgia, mystical testament, fantastic parable and philosophical discourse on human relations and the search for the absolute, the Little Prince exhibits with extraordinary genuineness Saint-Exupery’s reflection, unchanged throughout his work, about friendship, love, responsibility and the meaning of human existence, in a context marked by the world conflict and the bitterness of a writer-aviator so deeply affected by the loneliness he felt surrounded by.
