Summary/Abstract: Reality is the most complex functional system that generates, includes and governs existence and the course of everything that has been, is and will be in one form or another. Existence is thus a feature of reality, because what is real (in the common perception) becomes synonymous with what exists. However, alongside existence, reality is also characterized by adaptation, a continuous process whose first function is to respond to the dynamic character of reality. In the attempt of knowing the reality, the man analyzes, researches, compares or pays attention, in a general way, to what exists, so just to an aspect that, besides being ephemeral, as it is only a stage, cannot be synonymous with reality, because excludes the essential feature of adaptation. Thus, by the term „reality” it is usually defined only a section, a cognizable and accessible (through language) aspect of the successive and perpetual duality existence–adaptation, aspect that manifests itself in a stable temporal and spatial point.Language is the main way in which man refers to reality, through which he knows, as much as possible, the reality and, in some degree, through which shapes the reality, by filtering and processing. In the process of referring to the reality he wants to capture through language, man names and, by this, builds a mental construct, by assigning names (along with renaming, prohibition, euphemism) and / or attributes.
