Summary/Abstract: Virgil Tănase turns the real world into illusion and the reality into a created dream, not a retold one. We discover a different world where the frontiers between the real facts and the unreality, between past and present, mix and create an illusory universe. As a consequence, his works are dynamic, at all foreseeable. Being part of a strange universe, all the characters fight against their destiny trying to defeat the fate, but they have also to find the path to themselves, to their inner self. As a consequence, Virgil Tănase does not create a copy of real life, but a new and original perspective of the common images, events and feelings. He becomes the supreme creator of a world where both the author and the characters are searching themselves. The writer’s entire work seems to be a literary puzzle that has an unprecedented narrative construction and a metaphorical language that (re)composes a new and different universe. All these seem to be illogical, but at the end, the novels prove to be transparent and lucid creations. Apparently without any logic, all the texts are drama-novels that mingle the social underground with the dream, the reality with the parallel world.
