Summary/Abstract: In this study was presented some legal problems related to the provision of cloud gaming services have been partially addressed. The issues related to the exhaustion of copyright and the directions of jurisprudence that may appear in this respect in the future are particularly important. The CJEU jurisprudence seems to take the position that the institution of exhaustion contained in the cloud computing directive will not apply to the computer game as a whole. However, the above interpretation may change in the future due to the role played by digital versions of works in today’s world. From the point of view of not only the provider of cloud gaming services but also the copyright holder, the relatively new regulations on cross-border portability of online services in force in the European Union are also very important.
