Summary/Abstract: We believe that the nine decades of preschool activity in Giroc cannot be clearly presented and understood without referring to the educational realities underlying this future school institution. Banat can boast of a two-millennia long pedagogical tradition – scientifically proven. Archaeological research provided indications that, in the historical Banat, in the Roman period, various methods were implemented for the mastering of writing and reading.
