Summary/Abstract: This paper draws on the life story of one Macedonian man from the Aegean part of Macedonia and elaborates his autobiography preserved up until now in a manuscript form. In addition to the life story, the manuscript males an attempt to contextualize the military-political events, the social and ideological circumstances that are described from the author’s perspective. Special attention is put on the language and the linguistic influences that are noticeable in the manuscript, which are a consequence of inhabiting several countries in Eastern and Southeastern Europe.
