Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the changes in the training practice of the Odin Theatre from 1977 until recent days. The writing is a continuation of a previous work of the author published in the 2020 summer issue of Theatron. The author uses different sources to make a complex picture of the details such as the writings of Eugenio Barba, the Odin actors (Carreri, Varley), academics (Chemi, Chrisstoffersen, Ledger, Risum, Taviani, Turner, Watson), as well as written and video interviews. The presented history of the training starts with the fiskadam practice, continues with the theatre anthropology research, includes the description of the væksthus training, and ends with the recent events of the company’s leaving the NTL theatre at Holstebro.
