Summary/Abstract: The Constitution normalizes the status of legal professions quite extensively in Article 17. The constitutional status protects these professions from arbitrary statutory regulation and bad practice in the implementation of the law. In addition, the position of legal professions is safeguarded by the possibility of creating self-governments to which a great number of constitutional values and principles apply.
