Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the close connection of piano playing culture with the development in the history of musical culture in Western Europe. During this period, the formation of trends in mass performance, the development of musical forms and genres, achievements in musical notation also led to a considerable stage in the field of piano performance. In subsequent periods, a new attitude to art brought a new breath to the performing arts. As a result of the formation of the urban bourgeoisie, the widespread dissemination of Renaissance ideas, the attitude to academic music has radically changed, and new genres and new means of expression appeared in music, which paved the way for the complete liberation of musical culture from church control in the subsequent period. National piano culture is a multifaceted concept. This concept includes the concert activity of performers, the level of musical and pedagogical activity of different countries, the development of methodological ideas, the state of piano classes in the music educational system, the volume of piano literature, the number of piano instruments etc. Thus, the art of piano performing, one of the main components of the piano school, contains several factors. Mastering the piano performing comprehensively trains a person, expands his creative possibilities, develops his imagination and thinking, artistic abilities, intellectual level and forms new universal abilities.
