Disciplinary liability of probation officers

Summary/Abstract: Probation officers perform a weighty task, which requires appropriate qualifications and personal predispositions, because they are responsible for the resocialization of their charges. A probation officer must have appropriate moral criteria, and a violation of his duties is subject to disciplinary liability, which lies at the core of this article. It presents the principles of disciplinary judiciary and focuses on existing practical problems related to the incompleteness of legal regulations. The research method used in the article involves investigation of the law in force.
