Summary/Abstract: The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation is an international intergovernmental organisation. It was founded in Shanghai 22 years ago. The founders of this organisation are: China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. India, Pakistan and Iran have since joined. These countries are permanent members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. In addition to the permanent member states listed above, the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation includes states with observer status as well as countries called dialogue partners. One of the main member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation is China, which is active not only within this organisation, but also on a global scale. His activity within this organisation has always been outstanding. The growth of China's activity during the Russia-Ukraine war is especially noteworthy. After the Hague Court found the president of Russia, the only important member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, guilty, the first person to visit this country was the Chinese president, who brought a 12-point plan for peace talks between Russia and Ukraine to Moscow. This visit clearly emphasized the strength of the alliance between these two important member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. At the same time, China is trying to increase its role in the Middle East region. The indicator of his political aspirations is that through his mediation, diplomatic relations were established between one of the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation - Iran and Saudi Arabia.
