Summary/Abstract: Russia and China are the most important actors in the modern world. The political vector of today's Russia is obviously skewed towards China, but it has not always been this way. The analysis of media discourse provides an opportunity to determine the causes, goals and results of the deviation of the international-political and sociocultural vectors. The issue is relevant, to the extent that China and Russia have consistently opposed the so-called of PAX AMERICANA. Their positions coincide in various international organizations, including the Security Council. Considering today's reality, it is important to determine how real is friendship or strategic partnership between these two countries.
