Summary/Abstract: Scientific and pedagogical activities of Ivairialypé, polyglot Professor Vitos Labu¢is. Worked for ten years at the Institute of Lithuanian Language and Literature, later taught at Vilnius University Kaunas Western Faculty, from 1972. — Faculty of Philology, Vilnius University. Taught Lithuanian language syntax course, various special courses, supervised students' scientific works and dissertations. There will be various administrative duties. And at the same time intensive scientific work was done. The professor's bibliography includes a monograph on the syntax of the Lithuanian language, several educational books and more than one and a half hundred articles! Vitas Labutis is one of the most prominent syntacticians in the world. However, not only syntax matters to the Professor. He also wrote on the topics of morphology, terminology, onomastics, and the theory of language culture. On the occasion of the seven-centenary, in honor of the Professor, it was decided to review his most important studies on the grammar of the Lithuanian language, his numerous publications on other topics, including language practice and teaching methodology, while leaving aside Saly.
