Summary/Abstract: This study explores the correlation between the frequency of meme use in conversation with the accuracy of meme intertextual recognition in different contexts. The study applies qualitative and quantitative methods along the experiment in order to offer a general overview upon the impact of memes on the individuals preferences and social interactions. Moreover, the discussion reviews the implication of the experiments results and also suggests future directions for research.
