Summary/Abstract: Security and defense are topics closely related to the state and its citizens. Currently, however, in the era of rapid transformations and progressive globalization, they have acquired a slightly different meaning. Therefore, this evolution does not only cover the territory of a given country. Nowadays, it goes further, far beyond the territory of this territory. Therefore, security and defense issues require analyzes of many elements, including focusing on such basic issues as the conditions of state security, its military strength and measures to protect the civilian population. In combination with other factors, education and education for security becomes the subject of many analyzes and considerations of contemporary civilizations.
