Fanfikcja a polski kanon literacki
Fanfiction and the Polish literary canon

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present an area which has not yet been described within Polish fan studies. The author’s research shows that Polish fans are interested not only in various cultural texts, but also in works of Polish literature, including titles from the school reading canon. The fannish transformations of the canon will be discussed on the example of fanfiction based on Bolesław Prus’s Lalka [The Doll].
