Glass Artist Valda Verikaitė

Summary/Abstract: Valda Verikaitė was born in Kaunas in 1981. She grew up in this city and attended the Radvilėnai secondary school there. From 2000 till 2003 she was studying glass art at Kaunas Higher Art School (nowadays known as Kaunas University of Applied Sciences, the Faculty of Arts and Education), where she qualified for the qualification of glass art master. In 2007 she graduated from Vilnius Art Academy Kaunas Faculty with the bachelor‘s degree and in 2009 she graduated from the same school and was awarded the master’s degree. V. Verikaitė has gained the experience in glass art and has established a personal glass art studio. She has also been working as an art teacher in Kaunas J. Grušas school, where she has been passing her knowledge to the students in an comprehensive, practical, and inovative way.
