Development of Statistical Procedure for Conducting an Empirical Pedagogical Study

Summary/Abstract: The empirical pedagogical study aims to draw conclusions based on the statistical processing of data, obtained through specially organized activities. Before the researcher starts to process any data, they must focus on obtaining data from a specific part of the object of study, what features are to be measured and how they are going to register the values. The present article includes a list of activities which must be performed, and the main concepts which can be applied to them. Based on specific examples here we clarify how the extracts from the total sum are formed, how to select the variables and the measuring scales according to the type of data included in the study.
