Activity of local authorities from Wielkopolska Voivodeship in the acquisition of UE funds

Summary/Abstract: This article aims to measure and evaluate the spatial differentiation of activities of local authorities in acquiring external funds in rural areas of Wielkopolska. To determine the level of activity of local authorities the feature of aggregate has been built on the basis of data from official statistics, the Marshal’s Office and survey data. The evaluation of differentiation of the level of activity was made with the use of cartograms. The area of study included rural and urban-rural Wielkopolska.
