Summary/Abstract: Charity requires the realization of justice, as a necessary condition for one's progress. There is therefore no opposition between the order of charity and that of justice. Without justice, charity runs the risk of remaining illusory. Charity provides justice with an indispensable interiority, shows that the objective work carried out by justice remains only a stage of the moral order, essentially open to overcoming that includes personal gift, since the rights of brothers. It triggers the desire for justice from a deeper source. Charity personalizes relationships of justice. In fact, these relationships, if left to their own purpose, risk accentuating otherness until it becomes an obstacle to unity and a source of division. The true sense of justice is to be a step towards one's overcoming; stopping at justice is therefore an injustice.
