Summary/Abstract: As a result of the ongoing transition in Poland, several fundamental groups of legal issues are emerging that require urgent research and legislative work. Among the most important the author includes:- ordering of the constitutional law of economic entities (entrepreneurs, in particular commercial companies and cooperatives, the law on economic activity, as well as the legal regulation of the functioning of companies wholly owned by the State Treasury;- to carry out a profound reform of the Civil Code adapting its provisions to the existing socio-economic reality;- the development of a coherent regulation of securities law;- the development of modern industrial property law;- legal regulation of advertising;- regulating new types of contracts such as leasing, franchising, factoring and other such contracts involving new economic developments,- the adaptation of Polish economic law to the legal solutions in force in the European Communities and the European Union.
