Summary/Abstract: The artistic value of George Coșbuc’s poetry was not questioned by the representative literary critics. But with time, according to the mutation of the aesthetic values, the readers and the critics belonging to posterior generations discussed its actuality. This study is focused on analysing the phases of poetic reception, from its initial stages until the context of contemporary literature.
