Summary/Abstract: The studied emancipatory discourse is an expression of the aspirations of women's movement to develop their own space in the sphere of entrepreneurship. The institutions of this discourse are organisations encouraging Polish women to become entrepreneurs. The aim of this article is to analyse the narratives of three such institutions in terms of the types of argumentative strategies (ethos, pathos, logos) legitimising this discourse and their functions. The findings indicate a dominant ethotic argumentation that serves, among other things, to expose women's need for business autonomy and to emphasize their solidarity and mutual support. Pathos-based persuasive practices characterise one of the organisations whose narrative also marks the place of the individual somewhat more against the background of the female community. The stylistics of the discourse shows its rationality and factuality, and does not reveal the attitudes of a radical, militant feminism.
