Summary/Abstract: Romania which gifted Syria the first printing press in 1706 is still playing a very active role in advancing the cultural relations between the two countries through books. Proema publishing house is an essential part of this active movement. It published 14 books with Syrian traces in the period 2010-2020, which is the same number of the books with Syrian traces printed or written with the cooperation between Syrians and Romanians between 1652-1711. On the other hand, it’s a big number if compared with the 29 books with Syrian traces published by 24 publishing houses between 1957-2001 that were found in the Romanian National Library.
