The organization of internal transport processes on the example of an fruit farm

Summary/Abstract: The main aim of the article was to identify and evaluate internal transport processes in a fruit farm. The research was carried out on a farm specializing in apple production in 2020–2021. The method of the diagnostic survey with the interview questionnaire technique and the participant observation method was used to collect the research material. The index and comparative analysis were used to evaluate the processes of transporting apples from the place of harvest to the place of storage. Based on the conducted research, it should be stated that the transport processes in the researched farm are well optimized. The means of transport utilization rate was 58%. Low loaders trailers were used for 8% of the entire year. The utilization rates for farm tractors and forklifts were 66 and 40%, respectively.
