Lifelong Learning as Innovative Strategy for Development of Education

Summary/Abstract: This paper presents a survey of the key modern concept of life-long learning in its relations to development of education. The specifics of the transition from a traditional educational paradigm to new educational principles and strategies are clarified. A special analysis is applied to the conceptual meaning of “life-long learning”, its main forms and varieties, as well as the leading approaches and interpretations of its features in modern sociocultural context.
