Summary/Abstract: This article aims to approach the protection measures through judicial counselling and special guardianship for persons who have reached the age of majority, as they were regulated by Law no. 140 of May 17 2022 on certain protection measures for persons with intellectual and psychosocial disabilities and the amendment and completion of some regulatory acts, given that the legal provisions governing the protection of the legally incapacitated person were declared unconstitutional
