Summary/Abstract: Undoubtedly, analyzing the teaching of bishop Adam Lepa, we can see that the media show great opportunities in the field of positive action: they teach, bring the works of culture closer, arouse creative passions, and in the hands of believers they become a place of effective evangelization. Based on the above aspects, we can see that a media worker, thanks to his faithfulness to the Word, becomes not only a teacher but also an evangelizer. Recognizing the need for the formation of a journalist, the work emphasizes that spiritual formation in the life of a person responsible for the transfer of information is very important. The fruit of preaching a journalistic message will be, for example, the shaping of a Christian mentality, which will bring people closer to God. Building a Christian mentality is a way of thinking,it’s intellectual inquisitiveness, and above all, it’s habits of thought and beliefs to which a person has managed to get used to. A journalist using the formation will be aware that Christ is his most important formatter. Therefore, the principles of spiritual formation never grow old, just like the Gospel, of which a journalist of the 21st century can become a faithful witness.
