Summary/Abstract: This presentation is a research that aims to present how the totalitarian regime resorted to repression and terror to control the population. It has at its center tools and forms of repression of the communist dictatorship over certain social categories, religious or ethnic minorities, used both to establish the regime and to maintain power. At the same time, it analyzes the defining aspects of communist repression: concentration and labor camps, means of torture, deportations, starvation and violation of fundamental human rights - freedom of faith, free expression, freedom of the press and, of course, the right to life.
