Summary/Abstract: In this study, the mediating role of organizational learning on the relationship between the knowledge management process and firm innovativeness was investigated. Data were obtained via questionnaire from 239 firms located in technology development zones (TDZ) of TR42 East Marmara Region, Middle East Technical University TDZ and Ankara TDZ. Linear regression techniques and structural equation modelling were used to analyze the data. Findings revealed that there are positive relationships between knowledge acquisition, knowledge transformation, knowledge application and firm innovativeness. Results also demonstrated that organizational learning has a fully mediating role in these relationships. Finally, relationships between knowledge protection-organizational learning and knowledge protection-firm innovativeness were not significant.
