Identification of online stores enabling the illegal sale of unregistered nutritional supplements containing prohibited substances

Summary/Abstract: The presented work focuses on pharmaceutical crime and the issue of internet sales of illegal pharmaceutical products containing prohibited substances. The aim of the work was to map the Slovak internet environment with a focus on finding online stores providing illegal sales of unregistered nutritional supplements containing selective androgen receptor modulators - andarin, ligandrol, ostarin and testolone. Through the advanced screening capabilities of the Internet search engine, we identified 16 Internet stores that allowed the sale of unregistered nutritional supplements that declared the content of selective androgen receptor modulators in the relevant Internet product descriptions, Internet texts, or packaging labels.
