Summary/Abstract: This paper contains our response to symposium papers by Ondřej Kadlec, Jaroslav Benák, Lukáš Králík, Arkady Alexandrov and Pavel Ondřejek. Their papers react to and reflect the research presented in our book – Citační analýza judikatury [Citation Analysis of Case Law]. We address their considerations across these categories: obligation to follow case-law and stare decisis, strong and weak points of the concept of optimal relevance, strong and weak points of the macroanalyis of Czech citation environment and plausibility of suggested ways of further research. We further discuss a follow-up research conducted by Alexandrov and Ondřejek.
