Summary/Abstract: The paper presents selected analyses of subjective perception of poverty and social exclusion. The analyses are based on data from the EU SILC, provided by the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic. The paper covers three main areas. Firstly, it offers data on subjective perception of financial stress, namely on perception of ability to pay regular household’s expenditure and perception of housing costs. Secondly, it focuses on ideas on minimum income sufficient for “getting along”.
