GENERAL ATTRIBUTIONS OF THE NATIONAL AGENCY FOR FISCAL ADMINISTRATION

Summary/Abstract: In order to carry out its functions, the Agency fulfils a series of general attributions meant to ensure the transparent, coherent and predictable development of the activity in its specialized field. The Agency shall ensure the administration of taxes, duties, contributions and other budgetary revenues given by law in its competence, shall be responsible for the application of customs policy and regulations and the exercise of customs authority functions, as well as operational and unannounced control over the prevention, detection and combating of any acts and deeds, which have the effect of tax evasion. For its field of activity, the Agency has competence in resolving appeals and prior complaints made against acts issued in the exercise of its powers.
