Summary/Abstract: While the predictions on future are always difficult, one can be certainly made. People will be in the middle of a great number of interactions in which intercultural communication abilities are essential. In the last 50th years were brought many dates about the types of intercultural contacts, so that individuals to become now much more efficient and curious in their interactions with strangers. As the knowledge about improving ways of intercultural contact grew up, a lot of people felt the need for formative programs. The aims of this research are to explore new relevant topics in understanding and agreeing cultural diversity perspective, to consider intercultural approach a source of behaviour changing, and to study intercultural communication as an efficient way in encourage and develop intercultural skills. Also, we wanted to emphasize the role played by the specific intercultural formative program that was designed and applied to investigate the most effective formative strategies for understanding others culturally different. In this research we examined three experimental conditions depending on formative methods manipulation: in the first condition there was a combination of didactic and experiential methods; the second condition proposed only experiential method, and in the third were used only didactic method. The results showed positive effects on conscious, knowledge, emotional challenges (inclusive attitudes), and intercultural abilities (involving specific behaviours) when a hybrid model of intercultural formative strategies was used.
