Summary/Abstract: The article presents the revolutionary violence in the wider Cerknica area in 1942, i.e. in the territory of the former municipalities of Begunje pri Cerknici, Cerknica, Rakek and Sv. Vid. The violence was directed at the real, alleged and potential opponents of the communist revolution. There was a total of 47 victims of revolutionary violence, 39 of which were civilians. The article describes some cases of murder, robbery and arson carried out by the Partisan units.
