NAMES OF SKWARKI, SKRZYCZKI, SKRZOKI FROM BACON IN THE LANGUAGE OF THE INHABITANTS OF GREATER POLAND’S VILLAGES

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the names of pork scratchings from Greater Poland. The author cited the archival materials of Adam Tomaszewski, the Atlas of the Language and Folk Culture of Greater Poland, as well as contemporary data from field exploration, the records of the Dialectological Laboratory of the Adam Mickiewicz University, as well as those published in „Greater Poland Regional Dictionaries” and amateur dictionaries from Greater Poland. A number of analyzes have shown the diversity of the names in question, both geographical, chronological and linguistical.
