Exhibition or Spectacle? A Few Additions to the Exhibitions in Lisków (Towards the Years: 1925 and 1937)

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the spectacular dimension of the exhibitions in Lisków (1925 and 1937). It points out the issues that have been left so far. The article raises the questions about the importance of the local community and its role in these events. Exposure of the activities of a priest, W. Bliziński, especially the strategies aimed for activation of the inhabitants of Lisków, made it possible to describe not only exemplary models of the animation activities, but also the theatrical face of these events.
