Summary/Abstract: Paper presents the main point of author’s view about the role of university teacher as educational manager: need of. managerial competency of the university teacher, its managerial function and activities (planning, organizing, controlling assessment and evaluation),specificity of the management of teaching and learning process based on collaboration between teacher and students, the traps for them because of lack of readiness for students to take managerial decisions.
