Summary/Abstract: Creativity has been examined not only as a concept, but also with its contributions to design, art, education and training, as well as with the physiological and psychological changes of the individual in the creativity process, and in every area examined, it has been divided into many different classes depending on the dynamics and tried to be interpreted in the historical process. Creativity is a natural phenomenon and is a natural part of humankind. Within the scope of this article, the way in which this natural phenomenon emerges from the creative action, idea or product of the person in the process, and the ways in which creativity in the literature is discussed are examined. Creativity is examined in detail with the concepts of image, imagination, intuition and spirit that come across in the creativity process. In this article, which is a compilation article; the concept of creativity, which is discussed etymologically, has been included in the content with the definitions of many different art and scientists, the historical process of the concept has been shed light and it has been determined that it will continue to gain new meanings in the future.
