Summary/Abstract: Education through play aims at training and socializing the student, without the student realizing that he is making an effort. He is not under any pressure; he progresses at his own pace and develops his ability to communicate with other colleagues. In this article we present aspects related to the game and its functions, the didactic game as a method used in the training process and the importance of the game in the physical education lessons in the primary cycle. We refer mainly to the motor learning contents specific to minihandball. We present the necessary steps to be taken to form the ability to play minihandball and the importance of games for learning minihandball.
