Summary/Abstract: Remote education for teachers is a daily measurement with problems of a technological, communication and emotional nature. For many of them it is an unequal struggle that they undertake because they are responsible for their students, colleagues and the school. Distance learning in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic began unexpectedly. It has appeared in schools and it is difficult to judge when it will end. Regardless of its duration, schools have to face it by doing the best they can. The technological equipment of school facilities, hardware and internet availability, the availability of digital teaching materials, online teaching methodology and the level of digital competences of teachers, students and parents made remote learning a big challenge for schools, but above all for teachers and students. In times of pandemic, e-learning has redefined the role of teacher and educator and educator is slowly becoming an educational leader, organizing and leading the entire didactic and educational process in the network.
