Summary/Abstract: The Great War (1914-1918) comes along with in – depth change of the emotional universe. Within the writings of some Ego-documents signed by the early twentieth century contemporaries of the events, the portrayed emotions reflect the changes in the image of the war, as well as the effort to adjust to a new reality. The First World War means paramount shifts of the already existing model that will define the evolution of the humanity from that moment on. The Great War contemporaries stand for a generation that will decisively influence the perspective on the "show" caused by the conflagration that changed the destiny of the whole world.
