Violence Between Siblings: A Review Study

Summary/Abstract: The objective of this study is to define and recognize the causes and effective factors of sibling abuse. Additionally, it aims to raise awareness of the subject by highlighting the relationship between domestic violence and sibling abuse. While the family environment is often considered a safe haven, it can unfortunately also be a place where violence and abuse occur, causing anxiety for its members. Despite many studies on domestic abuse, research on sibling abuse has been lacking. This study aims to fill that gap by discussing the definition of violence between siblings, the factors that contribute to it, the impact of family dynamics on sibling abuse, its prevalence, history, and consequences.
