Countercomplexity. Politics of Simplicity

Summary/Abstract: The main goal of the article is to show the consequences of the fact that people experience knowingly operating within the dynamic complex systems. One of the most important results of this specific human properties is an attempt to reduce the complexity of such systems. I recognize such activities as politics of simplicity and show how they are implemented within the “social turn”, mathematical modeling, in contemporary forms of democracy and economic activity, design, etc. I also try to show why the politics of simplicity increase the complexity of the modern world.
