Summary/Abstract: The article presents an analysis of the electorate of the Palikot Movement, a group which is a new force in the Polish Parliament and emerged as a result of the 2011 elections. A socio-demographic profile of the Palikot Movement is presented, as are their self-identification in ideological spaces, their opinions on various, socially significant issues and democracy, and their attitude to politics and to the party system. The analysis presented is of a comparative nature; the Palikot Movement electors are juxtaposed both with voters supporting other parties and non-voters. The article comprises two types of statistical analyses, bi-variable, aimed at describing the Palikot Movement electorate, and a multivariable, which serve to point out the unique determinants of voting for the Palikot Movement, compared to other electoral decisions. The entire study is based on data from the 2011 Polish National Electoral Study.
