Summary/Abstract: This paper is based on an 18-year experience of the Institute for Sustainable Development (ISD), Warsaw, Poland. The ISD is a typical think-tank institution. Its main mission is looking at the present from the next generation’s perspective. The paper covers general interactions between climate policy and energy policy, with a focus on the situation of Poland.
