Polish paratexts of Anna Achmatowa’s ”Poem Without a Hero”

Summary/Abstract: Using the Polish translations of Anna Akhmatova Poem Without a Hero the author analyzes various types of paratexts of the translation. She differentiates between the original (author’s) paratexts, the translator’s paratexts and the editor’s paratexts. Moreover, she marks out the verbal and the non-verbal paratexts. Finally, she points to the existence of a „paratextual network” ccompanying the original version of a given text.
